Korby Matsen is a licensed REALTOR® with Hawaii Luxury Real Estate, specializing in luxury resort and investment-oriented properties along the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. Since relocating to Hawaii in 2014, he has focused on representing buyers and sellers within the region’s premier resort communities, including Mauna Lani Resort, Mauna Kea Resort, Hualalai Resort, and Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Korby began his real estate career in Texas in 2007, where he completed approximately 45 transactions and was actively involved in real estate investment. This experience provided a strong foundation in valuation, negotiation, and market analysis, and shaped the investment-oriented perspective he brings to his clients today. Since establishing himself on the Big Island, he has completed approximately 30 transactions involving resort condominiums, luxury residences, and vacation-oriented properties along the Kohala Coast.

In addition to brokerage, Korby provides professional vacation rental management for select properties, giving him direct operational insight into ownership costs, rental income performance, and guest demand. This hands-on experience allows him to provide clients with practical guidance not only on acquisition and sale, but on the broader financial and operational realities of resort property ownership.

Korby holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and ePRO designations, reflecting his commitment to professional expertise, continuing education, and modern real estate marketing practices.
